A special issue dedicated to a particular topic may be scheduled no more than once a year. This topic may be requested by a committee of the Chilean Society of Anesthesia or be planned by the editorial committee.
In both cases the topic must be approved unanimously by the editorial committee.
The instructions for authors will be the same for original articles, review articles and clinical cases. Authors must fully comply with these instructions. In addition, papers must be submitted through the scholastic platform and will receive the same blind peer review treatment. WITHOUT ANY EXCEPTION.
Eight months before the deadline for submission and an invitation to publish on the selected special topic will be published in social networks and on the website of the journal and the Chilean Society of Anesthesia. This invitation will be repeated four months prior to publication.
